The most frustrating bit of tech I have ever had the pleasure of trying to get to work, update or reset.. Seriously, Fitbit as a company need to start employing software engineers with track records for successful and user friendly operating systems. I have had to factory reset multiple times, I cant get music to transfer and now find out it has to be done over Wi-Fi with both devices on the same Wi-Fi. Even when doing this it still doesn't work. I have lost count of the times I have been stuck on the never ending logo screen thinking "ok it's doing an update".. to realize 2hrs later.. "no.. it's frozen". I wish I never bought this watch.

OK, hold your mouth right and here we go!
Ensure the device is connected to a working charger.
Is close to your phone with the app installed.
Is within wifi range of your modem/router (if you have one).
Press and hold all 3 buttons in until the Fitbit logo appears.
Quickly release the bottom right button - but keep holding the other two buttons in.
Release these two remaining buttons when the Ionic vibrates.
Wait a minute or 3 for setup to continue.
Follow any prompts.
Will take around 30 minutes to complete.
You will be prompted to connect to Bluetooth and wifi on/via your phone and a 4 digit pin will appear on the Ionic to be entered into the app.
If the logo NEVER goes away then all you can do it let the battery go flat and hopefully the device will have a logic reset. Reconnect it to a charger - wait until it is mostly charged and rinse and repeat.
Goodluck!
