Ionic showing steps when I didn't use it

Hi all,

Had my fit it ionic for a while and love it with no issues....however after a few minutes this morning ended up.with 12k steps on my tracker. Note: was using phone as tracker Fitbit was charging. And help sorting this issue would be greatly appreciated

@Firepup82 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that  your Ionic showed steps when you were charging it. 

 

I appreciate that you mentioned you used your phone to track your steps. If the steps tracked by your phone synced to your account and then your Ionic synced too, this might be the reason why you're seeing that amount of steps. 

 

If these steps weren't tracked by your phone, then you may want to manually log driving as an activity to delete these extra steps.
