Ionic shows Fitbit icon when charging

Every time I charge my Fitbit Icon the Fitbit icon is displayed and the only way to get rid of it is to conduct a reset. Firmware and software updates have been tried, battery charges, but the Icon remains on the screen. Any thoughts what to do next?
