just got a big vibration on watch (crossing my 11K steps mark as setting ) and watch suddenly jumped to showing 24000 steps. it is reflecting in app and showing on watch. For no apparent reason it just added huge amount of steps. not sure what is the issue but has not happened till now. its a first but still a huge jump

It’s good to see you in the community, @rahulganatra.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and recommend confirming if you have a MobileTrack paired to your Fitbit account. MobileTrack lets you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit device by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. For more information, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack? MobileTrack may affect the steps tracked by your watch and I recommend removing it from your Fitbit account if you're not using it: How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?

Hope this helps!

yes I do use mobiletrack but i never take my mobile out with me for my excercises. i take only my watch and sometimes my bluetooth earphones.  Also an update - the problem got resolved automatically (did not do anything at my end) at 8 pm . the steps reverted to actual takenn during the day so not sure what and how it happened but it was weird.
