Last night my fitbit ionic rebooted itself and now it doesn't show any steps taken, heart rate recorded and the screen doesn't turn on when you flip your wrist anymore. The green light on the back is still flashing but doesn't seem to do anything. The GPS still works but doesn't show any stats until I go onto strava. I've rebooted it and also done a factory reset but nothing is fixing the problem.
Any ideas what to do next?

I am experiencing the same issues: not counting steps, heart rate recorded and the screen doesn’t turn on when I flip my arm. I was thinking it was my Ionic and was going to buy a new one, but I guess I may go with a Garmin.

I have the very same experience - I have rebooted several times and done several factory resets several times and the same issues are present - no steps detected/recorded, and heart rate not recorded/detected.
Is this a firmware issue?

Same for me too tried rebooting but nothing fixes it plus I have noticed that the battery doesnt last very long now either having to charge it at least twice a week.

I got a firmware update today, 27.70.727, and was so hoping that would fix it - but it did not... the waiting continues for a fix to my less smart, smartwatch....
