Ionic stopped tracking heart rate

My Fitbit ionic first got locked on my heart rate from a workout.  I resettled the watch and the app.  I also disconnected and reconnected to the the app.  The locked heart went away.  I checked the heart rate settings and they are set to on and auto, but since this instance …… the ionic has not been able to read my heart rate.  What should I do now?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Bozo1112.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend confirming our complete troubleshooting tips in What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? Please also try the following:

  1. Confirm the steps to restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Switch to a Fitbit clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
