Ionic stopped working & wont turn on

My Fitbit ionic has at some point today (AM I believ) completely shut down & will now not turn back on.

 

I last charged the device to 100% on Monday evening after using it for an exercise (this was also the last time I synced it).

 

today I have placed it on charge for a couple of hours (nothing came up on the screen to say it was charging) I’ve tried a couple of different plug sockets aswell as two charging cables but it still won’t turn on.

 

i have also now tried the reset options, holding the home button for 10secs, holding the home & lower button until the logo appears (it didn’t appear) and tried holding all 3 buttons but nothing seems to happen on the device.

 

any advice will be great fully received as I’ve had several issues with the device since purchasing it which is becoming more & more frustrating..... the device also hasn’t counted floors for months & no solution has been found so far!

I too had this problem and was so frustrated.  Finally went on google and found a british guy on youtube that showed me exactly how to make it restart and it worked like a charm.  Love my Fitbit when I can get it to work right.  Good luck.

Further update..... so i left it to charge all day whilst I was at work & ive just for back & nothing has changed, still just a blank screen not responding to any form of button press/hold!

So my issue started yesterday as well, I noticed that it wouldn't read my heartrate at all during my workout. So this morning I tried to restart by holding down the two buttons and now it is stuck on the Fitbit Logo screen and won't reopen.  It's very frustrating and now I'm spending my day trying to troubleshoot.  So any help with this would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

I have the same issue too! Yesterday plugged it to charge, actually drained the battery & now won't charge & a blank screen.
