Bought FitBit Ionic 7/3/2019 at the steep price tag, basic tracking functions of heart rate, steps, and sleep appeared good. However all other ancillary functions were a joke and waste of money as they don’t work and fit bit support is poor. The worse part is wrist band broke at 11 months. device started acting weird (despite all troubleshooting and support efforts) at 13 months, and the FitBit Ionic completely died at 15 months. FITBIT has severe product quality problems.

It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even though Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.
