I have had my Fitbit for just over 12 months and predictably, it has failed. The ionic loses time, will not sync with app, phone cannot find it, thus rendering it useless. Due to the poor mechanical quality of fitbit, I will not replace it for another. In the UK, the goods must be fit for purpose and would be expected to last for longer than a year. Fitbit needs to take note and also, make a device which works as it is intended. I've lost count of the number of beta testing rounds I've done, yet, I have nothing to show for what cost me a lot of money.

I've tried several times to sync the device, all to no avail. My love affair with Fitbit is over and I have now purchased an Apple Watch. I want something that works and don't expect it to fail at the twelve month mark, where I have to rely on English law, rather than the goodwill and common sense of fitbit. I will never have another Fitbit again and can not endorse it because of reliability issues and automaton customer services.
