Ionic stopped working

Hi everyone, over the past few weeks my watch’s data or connection has been having a growing amount of issues, from not counting my steps, not connecting to the GPS, not tracking my sleep and now not sending notifications for activities and the heart rate isn’t being tracked.

Anyone having issues? Is it just the watch is out of date and time for an update or can these issues be fixed?

First steps would be to Shutdown the watch, wait 10 seconds then place it on the charger to restart it and fully charge it and see how it goes.

There have been recent firmware updates and App updates, did one of these cause this issue?

@Guy_ Thanks for sharing that troubleshooting.

@HankIre Welcome back to the Fitbit Community. I'd like to just share this article to learn how to perform a restart. In order to provide you with the appropriate troubleshooting, reply to the following questions:

- Is your Ionic tracking less or more steps?

- Have you checked this article to learn about the things that could affect the connected GPS?

- Are you receiving sleep patterns instead of sleep stages?

- Are you receiving notifications from the apps?

- Is your Ionic not tracking your heart rate at all?

Hope this helps.
