My Ionic seemed to be working fine today, but this evening suddenly stopped tracking steps. No matter what I try, it seems to be locked in on the 14,275 steps I'd logged before it appeared to freeze my steps. I took it off and plugged it into the charger to see if that helps. Not sure what to do beyond that. Thank you for any tips!

@KristyG Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
I would like you to restart your Ionic and check if it continues tracking your steps after this.
Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you need further assistance.

@Anya_loh Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the restart tried.
I would you to perform a factory reset and check if it continue tracking your information. If it doesn't please reply to the following questions:
- Does it show any tracked data in your Ionic?
- Is it not syncing any data to your online Dashboard either?
Let me know how it goes.

Hi, I've been getting the same issues with sync and Fitbit not tracking anything (Steps, Heart Rate, etc)
Currently using a Samsung S8 with Android version 9. I have been using the Fitbit a little over a year.
I've done the following each time :
1.Factory Reset
2.Reinstalled App
3.Restart Phone
4.Restart Bluetooth
5.Changed Watch Face
6.Tried to sync over wifi
7.Setup Ionic using Computer instead of phone
All to no avail. I would also like to add that these issues first occurred the moment I updated the Fitbit app. Previously, there were no such problems. I do wish that someone could share some light on this situation as it seems to be a bug with the app/firmware.

I really hope that they are investigating the issue or at least tell us they have heard us and are working on it.
As a consumer, I would like this "bug" to be explainable as it really causes me to lose confidence in Fitbit as a company because as far as I can deduce the problem arose from the update since it is the only external factor. It is not possible to patronize a company that causes their products to fail and not fix it.
I have been using Fitbit for 4 years now and I really like their products but if this is a common occurrence and there is no explanation at all it gives little reason why I would want to continue being a customer of Fitbit.
Hopefully, a release patch announced soon to fix these issues.
