Hi

I have followed all the troubleshoot steps for ionic to connect to android phone however the two have not synced since Sunday. Anyone any other ideas?

@Gemclare What phone are you using? It may not be a supported device.

Unfortunately, Ionic syncing has always been flaky. Here are some of the things that generally work for me:

1. On phone bluetooth, forget the Ionic device and try syncing again.

2. On phone, turn off bluetooth, turn on again after 10 seconds. Try syncing again.

3. On Ionic, go to bluetooth, start discovery then try syncing on phone.

4. Reboot phone.  Reboot Ionic.  Trying syncing after.

 

I have to do 1 of these just about every day to get an effective sync.  Nevermind getting reliable notification from apps, calls, messaging, I've just given up....  We paid $300+ for the privilege of being beta testers.

 

 

Ionic (27.32.10.20), Surge (Did not live up to 5 ATM Spec originally on tech spec), Samsung Galaxy S5, Moto G5 Plus
