Hello,
Did anyone notice that Ionic is able to sync via wi-fi bypassing bluetooth and Your phone?
My Ionic just synced without my phone - I have connected it to my charger and left the room to take a shower. After coming back to my desktop PC, I have noticed that there is a notification that I have almost reached my step limit. My phone had no cellular/wi-fi connection enabled and bluetooth was shut off also.
I haven't tasked Ionic to connect to wi-fi (it was configured earlier, during setup process).
Can Fitbit team confirm this?

At best this would only be possible when the ionic is plugged in and charging. The wifi only gets turned on while charging, and at this time the apps and music will be updated.

It was, as I said the Ionic was left charging. But everywhere Fitbit states that to sync a device, a companion app is needed. My Ionic synced without it.
