I have my ionic since last year December. Last night I charged my ionic and before bedtime put it on again.
This morning when I woke up there is an 11 hour time difference with my watch. It was 6:00am in the morning and the watch will showed it was 20:08pm
I struggled to get the watch to sync. Finally removed the ionic from my device. Since this morning I have been trying to reconnect my ionic with my phone but nothing. I uninstalled the app from my phone and installed. I removed it from my Bluetooth list of paired devices and paired it again. I turned it on and off thousand times already but still won't add my device to my app again and won't sync and the time is 11 hours time difference.
Please help me.

Mine is doing the same thing and it hasn't been syncing correctly for months now too.

I finally had to reset my watch back to factory settings. Nothing else worked

I did too, when I started to set it back up it told me that the reset hadn't completed because it need to be synced. It still took me like 4 hours to get it back up to date and time correctly. Still doesn't want to sync when I open the app though.

My Ionic wont sync to my phone if I'm in Bluetooth range of my computer. Shut the Bluetooth off on the computer than the phone will sync. It appears that the Ionic doesn't like to sync if there are multiple devices it has been paired to in Bluetooth range. Turn Bluetooth off in competing devices nearby and than it will sync. At least that's what works for me.

@Reneq Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing your experience on this thread. I'm glad to hear your Ionic is back and running now. Is it still taking a long time to sync?
If it is, please check the syncing troubleshooting steps on this helpful article. This should certainly help you out with this. Also, check that you are using a supported mobile device. @Pat1016
@0hwell I hope you're doing well! That is correct. If there are multiple devices connected, Ionic will take longer to sync. Thanks so much for sharing this workaround here. I'm sure this will help other users too.
Keep me posted!
