Ionic tracked too many steps

My Ionic says I walked 60K steps today! I just bought it - whats wrong!!!?

@ShaineH Welcome to the Fitbit family! Are you still experiencing this problem?

Did it tracked those steps while it was on your wrist? What were you doing that day? 

If it was on a surface with something that was buzzing or vibrating, like a fan for example; that may have tracked those steps.
