Ionic tracking badly

I have had my ionic for less than 4 months. A few weeks ago, the sleep tracking stopped working. Two days ago, it started functioning intermittently. It tracks about 1/5 of the steps I’m taking and does not track any active minutes. The heart rate doesn’t seem to be right either. I have tried restarting the watch and I also tried a different clock face. Both of those had worked for other people. Please advise.

The next thing to try is a Factory Reset returning your tracker to the way it was when you opened the box.  Swipe left to Settings, then About and then Factory Reset.

That was a royal pain, but it does seem to be working. What a shame to have to do a full reset on the device less than 4 months after I got it.

My watch doesn’t work right too. This is my 3rd Fitbit I keep thinking that the next one will work better. When it’s about 6 to 12 months old it starts tracking exercise when I’m not exercising or when I’m exercising it doesn’t track. My steps are always way off. I’m going to get a Apple Watch nexts. Cost more but in the long run it’s less. Fitbit doesn’t stand behind there product. Always had to buy a new one because they said it was too late to get replacement. The watch doesn’t last longer  then a year. I keep upgrading to the new best watch, but only last a year.
