Ionic turning off after entering 4 digit code

All right. I've updated the app, updated my phone, turned the watch off and on turned the phone off and on. I still can't get the ionic to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. It used to be connected.... Now won't do it at all.

@C-SPAN, the subject of your message indicates that you are trying to add the Ionic to your Fitbit app, does that mean you removed it from your account and are now trying to add it back?

I am having the same problem.  My computer and my phone were both unable to sync with my Fitbit for the last four days.  So after trying the standard stuff - disconnect, delete from devices, restart devices - I decided to remove it from my app and re-add it.

I get to putting in the 4-digit code, and then the ionic restarts.  The phone stays on the "enter the numbers" screen and says "connecting".... And then nothing.  Eventually it says that it failed.

Sad that this is my first post. =(

Well, +1 for the insanity method (doing something repetitively expecting a different result).  After repeating the process enough times everything worked out, and my Ionic updated.  Ah, well.  Hope yours was resolved as well, O.P.
