My Ionic no longer works since updating to the new OS 2.0 it either does not sync or doesn't keep time or both. Very unstable.
Have tried all combinations of clock face changing, auto time or not, installing, reinstalling, resets etc to no avail. Currently on the 4th total clear out in 24hrs. It will be going back to the shop tomorrow morning if it is still like this.
Whats going on please fitbit?

If your able to change the clock then there is some communication.
Have you restarted the ionic by using the two button restart or done a shutdown?? Has the Fitbit app been updated?
Also when asking about a sync problem, it is very helpful to include the type of device youreyosyncing through.
Have you looked at the help docs yet?

I'm syncing with a S8+ running android 8 (or a windows 10 laptop occasionally)...
I have managed to set up the watch again but it has lost 20 seconds already in 15 minutes (compared to a network linked phone and also the PC).... It keeps loosing time ? I agree it seems to be communicating I have even uploaded a run since....but the time loss is a fairly big issue for a product deemed to be a watch....
I have tried various configurations and "helps" from your site and online but nothing seems to cure this issue....It has only done this since the new update and i have had it without problem since October last year.

Up to 6 minutes lost and presto.... no longer syncing....back to point 1....
Great update!
Can we please have the old OS back till you've tested the new one properly?

It is not right for the tracker to be losing time this quickly. Have you tried a restart recently .
If so I would reach out to support and have them look at the back end of your Ionic .
Well the new OS was tested internally by Fitbit then externally by beta testers around the globe.

Only about 20 or so restarts, factory resets and installs etc. Looking at the forums for the Ionic...I guess the testing was not enough....Its going back to the shop tomorrow morning if it doesn't sort itself tonight. Pity....

I'm having the same issue, successfully reset it yesterday, now today no sync, time is way off again. Tried clearing and resetting watch again and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. Even tried a hard reset 6 times now and it's still stuck in a look.
