Ionic update

Someone please explain the point of this update to me.

Did it really make a difference that the exercise shortcut was the bottom button and not the top? Or that your notifications were on the bottom and not the top? Now every time I go for a run it stops working after one mile and I have to restart it. Why don’t you make some necessary updates-like keeping automatic que settings set to one mile

instead for reverting back to 0.5 every **ahem** time. No long distance runner in the history of the world wants notifications every half mile. Should not be that hard to change. Use some common sense and stop making pointless updates.

It always says it’s needs to calibrate, but unless you can get to your charger in less than 10 seconds you can’t callibrate it.

This device is a piece of junk. Should have gotten the apple watch or garmin.

I gave up on changing the .5 mile cue back in October. Fitbit help claims they fixed the 'issue' but it just seems to persist.

But that seems trivial as compared to the other issues that keep it from being useful in a competitive racing environment.

Now I have a replacement Ionic and I'm hoping it can maintain GPS signal longer than an hour. And not stop the exercise or switch off to something else entirely (like floor exercise). So far I have reason to hope.

It would be nice if cue settings were its biggest challenge.

Fitbit reps: I've tried to change the .5 mile cue setting to 1.0 mile now that I have OS2. Within hours Ionic still reverts back to .5. I agree with @staceylizabeth; this would seem a very easy software change.

You found a way to get to exercise from a button?! I have to swipe into apps and find it now. This button rearrangement derangement fitbit just put us through is absolutely ridiculous. Why don't they focus on fixing bugs like notifications? I used to love how easy it was to track a workout with a fitbit. Now all I want to do is step on the stupid thing. And don't get me started on  their new app and clock face store...what a disaster!

The lower right button opens the app that is located at the lower left of the first app page.  The upper right button opens the app located at the upper left of the first app page. Apps can be rearranged on the app pages so that you can open whatever app you want to. I use the lower right button to open Exercise and the upper right button to open Weather.

The app in the top left and bottom left of the first screen when you swipe right will be assigned to corresponding buttons on the watch face. To rearrange these apps just hold down on the app you want to move and move it into one of the positions above. When you press the buttons it will launch that app.
