It seems my vibration intensity is weaker than the original settings. How do I increase the vibration intensity? I don't even feel texts or calls, which is very important to me.

Hi @StevenRDavis,
Go into the Settings on the watch. There you'll see Vibrations. Just switch it to Strong, and you'll have a more intense vibration. Hope this helps.

Thanks @WavyDavey for reminding us this is possible! Also you might like to vote for this feature request. Be sure to add in the comments that you would like to see this specifically for the Ionic.

I don't see vibrations in settings.

love the upgrades and yet: even the stronger setting, at least for my unit isn't very 'strong' at all; was stronger before os upgrade on the ionic just days ago.

they have normal and strong option on watch, but they are about the same and both are barley noticable
it would help if they let you set the length of the notifications and\or the pattern of the notifications
but it seems this has been a tough issue for the developers of this watch as it's been a issue for a long long time, and not just this watch, but there last couple watches they have released, course they just bought pebble, so maybe the new developers will bring in some new talent and they will finally solve this one someday soon

I do not see the vibration settings on my watch either. Once the upgrade went through my Ionic won't wake up when I lift my wrist and I get no vibration notifications at all - not even when I use the timers. The settings on my watch are "tips & ticks" and "inspiration". Any ideas? I've also looked for the settings online and I don't see them online either. STUMPED and unhappy.

Find your settings on your fitbit ionic, with watch face showing scroll right to left 3X, you should see the settings icon; you'll be able to scroll up and down; scroll bottom to top until you see vibrations, tap on it to change strength of vibration. You can also start by rebooting your ionic; hold down the single bottom on the left with the lower botton on the right at the same time until the fitbit icon appears; then sync your ionic again from your phone. I had to do this twice to get the vibration feature to work. Still it is not very strong at all and as an alarm only vibrates once at the time set with no snooze feature which was 10 minutes before I upgraded. Good luck!

@JoanFP Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for your question.
To find the vibration setting please go the the Settings App on Ionic (gear icon). Swipe down until you see "Vibrations" and tap it to change it from normal to strong just as @1worldmus posted above.

My Pebble had several vibration strengths as well as duration, short, normal, long.

Can we make the vibration intensity stronger than the Strong setting? Even on that setting it still is easy to miss the vibration notices.
Thanks

This issue is not resolved. Normal and strong vibration are the same intensity and duration.
Neither can be felt if you are doing anything more strenuous than Sudoku.

Thanks for the affirmation. Hopefully someone will use the API to solve it or fitbit will address it from top down.
