Ionic won't sync with multiple devices.

I am having an issue with syncing my Ionic with more than one device. I would like to sync with my phone (Android), Ipad Pro and Windows PC. I've read that having 2 syncing devices on at the same time confuses the sync process and you should turn off the Bluetooth on other devices that may be near. The Ionic will sync with my phone and iPad but if I don't have the Phone around and am using my Ipad it won't sync unless I turn the watch off and back on and vice versa. I can't sync with the phone if it previously synced with Ipad unless I restart the Ionic. I've attempted with both in close proximity and turn off the Bluetooth on the one device I synced on previously and then try to sync with other device and it just times out. Even if I was syncing on my Ipad at home then leave and go miles away it won't switch over to my phone even when I manually try without my restarting the Ionic,.

As far as my PC I can see the Ionic as a device on the Windows FitBit app but it will never sync with my PC (yes it has Bluetooth) it's listed but won't sync even when I manually try to (It just says "Looking for tracker" in top of windows app....again just times out. I've tried to go to my BT settings on the PC and add Ionic as a BT device but it never finds Ionic in the BT add device settings. I've never had issues pairing any other BT device on my laptop.

I thought the Ionic was supposed to easily sync between multiple devices automatically.

I'm not sure what is going on that a restarting needed.

Yes any Bluetooth device will only be able to communicate with one Bluetooth server at a time. This is a limitation of the Bluetooth protocol, not Fitbit.

I know that it's a limitation of the Bluetooth protocol that it won't be able to sync with both devices at the same time. But that doesn't explain why when I'm away from my Ipad and home for long period of times the only way to resync with my phone is to restart. Also, I've noticed if I sync with one device and then the other it constantly changes my settings back to what the app wants not what the phone is set to. An example I set the temperature to Fahrenheit on the phone app, then when I sync it with the Ipad it will switch it back to Celsius. Add a credit card to Fitbit Pay on the phone through the wallet app. It will then sync with the IPad and remove my credit card since I synced it up on phone. Now I have a case open that I can't add any card at all but support has yet to call me back. I'm about to give up and return watch due to how buggy it is and lack of SPOTIFY!!!
