Ionic won’t update

I’ve followed all the steps I’ve found on this forum for why it may not be updating, I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, switched from WiFi to Bluetooth, forces a shut down and turned it back on, left it on the charger while sitting on my phone that was directly by the router, after several days with multiple tries each time I’m beyond frustrated. It gets to 98% says it can’t download and to switch to Bluetooth which I do and the same thing it gets to 98% and simply says installation failed and my screen on the watch still shows the updating image so I have to force a restart. It keeps time and the app says it’s tracking  my steps but nothing shows on the watch face. I have an IPhone XR if that makes a difference.

A warm welcome to the Community @JWhiz. Thanks for the details you've mentioned and the troubleshooting that you've performed.

Sorry to hear about what you're experiencing. The iPhone XR that you're using is a supported device and it should sync. I would like you to try the steps mentioned in this article: Why can't I update my Fitbit device?.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
