I've had my Ionic for about 10 months. Yesterday, the display just turned off. The device was still able to sync with my laptop when I connected the charger. I chatted with support and gotten a bunch of steps to reset and hard reset. Nothing works. The guy at the support says I have to update device but how can I do that when it wont even turn on. Emailed me a link to a bunch of troubleshooting steps which kept instructing to reset. And then I keep seeing a lot of people being asked to video themselves doing the reset. That is just stupid. By the sheer number of similar complaints, is it not obvious that a percentage of manufactured Ionic devices is defective?

Hi @jaimeras, I have a question for you: when you contacted Support (thanks for doing that by the way), did you ask for a Battery Test, by any chance?

Because Fitbit may be able to remotely test the battery.
As for updating, you say the tracker still syncs, therefore it should not be an issue to update since this process does not require the user to touch the tracker.
