Ionic wristbands

I brought the Ionic yesterday but since the  the wristband falls off. 

Even in my sleep the band pulls out amd also while I am walking. 

Do I did something wrong ?

It took me a few attempts before I realised that, when connecting the strap to the watch, I wasn't actually pushing the strap in far enough for the little metal pins to be properly grasped by the watch.
