I want to change back to OS1 on my FitBit Ionic, does anyone know how to do it.
There are many many things I don't like about OS2, main grumble is the "Today" app which was easily accessible from the press of a button and which showed me the 2 stats I was interested in on 1 screen - simple. Easy to get there and configurable to my needs. OS2 has the Today App as Swipe-Up (hang on - but thats where I see notifications isn't it), and then I cannot get the 2 stats I want on a single screen, instead I am forced to see crummy graphics that I don't want to see and swipe further here and there to get what I could previously get at a glance - no good, what a letdown. I am not happy with many other GUI changes either, won't be listing them all here, and want the Ionic I liked back.
Why of why didn't FitBit make these changes between OS1 and OS2 OPTIONAL, and let the user choose the changes that they want. All those who like the new features could still have them, and people like me could keep the user interface and features they are familiar with and which they think is just perfect for their needs.
Is there a way to get back to OS1 ?
If not then I will probably be sending my Ionic back to get it replaced under guarantee - it definately is not acting like the watch I chose to buy ie. with OS1 on it, and it wasn't cheap either. Why should I accept a usability downgrade ?
Does anyone in the community have any tips ?

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with Ionic's OS 2.1.
Currently, it is not possible to roll back to the previous version of the firmware. However, your feedback is well appreciated by Fitbit.
I'd recommend posting any changes in future versions you would like to see at the Feature Suggestions Board. This way, other users can participate and vote for your suggestion to have a better understanding on how many users would also like the same. Users can also comment to add any thoughts they may have towards your suggestion. Feel free to type one suggestion per post.
Let me know if you create an idea. Keep me posted!

How about a factory reset. Would that reset the phone back to factory default as if I had just purchased it, ie. with OS1 on it and the interface works properly again without any of the original apps being purged.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for your reply and for your question. The factory reset won't roll your Ionic back to previous firmware versions. It will erase all music, clock face, apps, etc. that you have on your watch.
It will remain on the firmware you currently have.
Hope this helps. See you around!
