Issue With Steps After Charging

I have noticed as of late that after charging my Ionic it will buzz telling me I am X number of steps away from my goal which is impossible as I just put the watch on for like the first time that day. Attached is a screenshot showing the Step Wheel and my Step Chart to show the massive difference. Aside from a Factory Reset does anyone know what else could be the issue and how to resolve it? Thanks in advance.
