This morning, I tried to access my Fitbit account over the Internet. The process took me to login/transfer; no option to go only to login. The process resulted in a notice that google was unable to find my account, even though I used the user-name and password from my password manager, the same information I used to old into the account the last time I accessed it. After completing the login/transfer process, the account now shows old information and “no device paired.” How do I correct or adjust this Google mess?

I can help with the pairing of the device, @Jack5225.
Go to your Account Settings and select "Set Up A New Device".
From there, find "Ionic" and turn your BT ON.
Next, you'll see a user agreement. Scroll to the end and click/tap "I accept".
Then follow the prompts!
Also, please make sure your Fitbit app (assuming you're using a phone or computer app and not the website) is updated and all other BTs/Fitbits are either off or not within range when you go through this process.

DramaQueenDiva,
I thank you for the information and instructions.
The linking issue was a minor part of the problem; the bigger part
of the problem was that Google required me to transfer my old Fitbit old
to a Google account, eliminating in the process the old Fitbit account, or
at least my ability to access my old Fitbit account, and transferring from
my old, now-inaccesible, Fitbit account out-of-date information.. Linking
the telephone to the Google account failed to correct the transfer of
out-of-date information.
I am responding to you by this email, rather than a post to the
Community blog because today, I am unable to access my newly established
Google-Fitbit account;
