This is now the second Ionic I've had with the same problem. The first one was still under warranty so it got exchanged but this one is now 4 months out of warranty and support have told me I need to buy a new one as it cant be repaired. The button clicks and I have tried all the troubleshooting advice but no joy. Dose anyone have any other advice as I'm reluctent to buy another after having 2 watches with the same problem and my in-laws had the same problem with his ionic. Many Thanks

About all you could do is put a couple of drops of isopropyl alcohol on the button and press it a number of times in the hope that this will clean the button contact.
Unfortunately, if the contact has been compressed, then there is little you can do.
Surely these buttons would have been engineered for a minimum number of presses to reach a MTBF that would equate to several years normal use?
Perhaps not?

Apple! Never again will I buy Fitbit! Ionic died after 13 months! $249 down the drain! 1 year warranty. Customer service sucks!
