Left button not working

the left button on my ionic is not working anymore. it seems to be jammed. has anyone experienced this?

Hello @jennyionic welcome to the Community Forums! Let me help you out with the inconvenience experienced with the button of your device.

 

Seems odd that the button of your Ionic is not working anymore. If you have't already done so, I recommend you to try our restart process following the steps that are specified on our help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

 

Also, you may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this doesn't improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the device at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

I am also having the same issue with my Fitbit ionic the left button stopped working last week on or about Wednesday.

 

I tried the following without resolving the issue:

 

1. Shutdown and restarted 

2. Reset to factory settings

3. Updated ionic to latest firmware and application

 

The left button continues to not work ... I can press it to activate the screen but any other action it is none responsive.

My left button is also stuck.  I have tried the toothpick, compressed air, and let the battery die to completely restart it.  All that did was get me off the quick setting page it was stuck on for some unknown reason.  But I still can't use the left button, which is the most needed button on this watch.

I have the same problem. Cant restart my ionic now. So I can charge from 0%%. Help. Might try dabing rubbing alchohol to lossen it
