Hi!
I put some music on my Ionic and I connected the device to my bluetooth headphones (Bose Quietcomfort 35) but the music didn't play correctly. It was almost as if it kept skipping small parts of the songs.. I put the exact same files on my iPod, phone and laptop and on these devices it played all perfect. Does anybody know what might be the problem?
Thanks!

Sounds possibly like a Bluetooth conflict. I'm assuming you’ve got your headphones paired with your iPhone as well. Try turning off Bluetooth on your phone while listening to music on the Ionic, or any other device the headphones might be paired with.

Hi wondeing if you can help me too. I went running, didn't have my phone with me so I don't think it's caused by a Bluetooth conflict/interference, the music skipped almost nonstop. I was using the ionic GPS and my Samsung Level headphones. EVERY song skipped about EVERY 20 seconds (I counted). It was pretty unbearable. I cannot understand how this is a $300 tracker touting on-board music and GPS functions if we can't even go for a simple run and use these features without serious disruptions. Any suggestions to fix this? I bought the iconic specifically for GPS and on-board music. Is this another let down or is there a fix someone knows about?

I"m an Android user who has the Ionic that was paired to some Bose SoundSport free wireless head phones. The music would not play without skipping from the Ionic to the Bose. Your suggestion of turning off the Bluetooth of all other devices the Headphones were paired to did the trick. No more annoying skipping of the music downloaded to my Ionic. Thanks

I am getting that static/skipping sound when I use my bluetooth headphones with my fitbit versa and when using the same headphones with my samsung phone they work perfectly. I uninstalled them from my phone and fitbit and then put them on again just to my fitbit versa. It's no better, still skipping and staticky. Is there another solution to fixing this problem, because, as others said, I particularly got this watch so I could listen to music whilst I run without needing my phone and if it does not work that is extremely disappointing.

does the skipping happen when you swing your arms ? does the skipping stop if you hold the Ionic in front of you ? swinging your arms (behind you) will block the signal (with your body) from the Ionic to your wireless headphones. Try wearing the Ionic on the other wrist, this fixed my 'static' problem. good luck.
