I have a fitbit Ionic which I've been using for 2 years and 4 months... it is due to fail and be replaced soon... if I purchase a New Ionic to have at the ready for this event (failure) when it happens...
Should I charge the new watch from time to time while waiting? Or not do anything with the new watch until I'm going to use it as the full time replacement, to preserve the battery and get maximum life out of the battery? Please tell me how/what I should do?... db

I would charge it from time to time, given the type of battery that Fitbit uses.
