Mile goal won't change in app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I set my mileage goal for 4.5 miles, but it keeps showing that goal is actually 7.25 miles, even though I never set it for that. All of my other goals can be adjusted, but not this one. Help?

Hi @BryceD, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello, My first time here. I'm not trying to steal the thread but I too have the same problem.

I have the app set for 3 miles but the goal isn't reached until I hit 4.4 miles.  I have done everything that you suggested for BryceD and it didn't correct the issue.  I have a Versa 2.  Any other thoughts?  Thanks so much for your time.

Welcome aboard @Brock57, it's a pleasure to assist you today.

Thanks for the details that were shared in your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps before bringing your concern to my attention. To further investigate why are you experiencing this situation, can you please let me know which phone are you using with your Ionic? Did you experience this situation in the past or is it the first time? Is your phone running the latest OS version?

I'll be waiting for your reply.

I tried the same things. This is also the second phone I've used with my
Ionic. It just won't change. I'm using an android phone and its brand new
and up to date. This is also the second Fitbit account I have synced this
device with and that didn't change the problem either. It's been like this
since I first set it up.

I have a Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.  I just checked it and it is up to date. I have a Versa 2 and It's been this way for several months.  Sorry, I can't be more specific. I quit paying attention to it for a while.
