Multiple Interval Functionality on Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Can anyone advise if there has been a response from Fitbit with regards to Multi Interval Functionality, within the Interval Workout,

The Add function is greyed out.  You also cannot amend the wording from Move / Rest.

I have checked other comments and this seems to be a long standing issue (2018),

Thanks in Advance

@SunsetRunner It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for the research done prior to posting.

The interval training settings need to be changed from your app or online Dashboard:

- Go to your Fitbit app

- Tap on your Ionic's icon

- Scroll down until you see the Exercise Shortcuts

- Tap on it and select Interval Workout

Also, I would like you to provide me with more details about the add function that's grayed out for you. Are you not able to add the Interval Workout to your exercises?

Let me know the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi

Thank you for your response. I have been checking the Dashboard, this highlighted the issue, as I want to use the Ionic for more running based activity and use it to its full potential, the ionic is really lacking in this area.

You can only set 1 interval

Move 5 mins
Rest 2 mins
This can be set to repeat ie 6 times.

All other fitness devices allow for multiple intervals and allow time and/or distance.

Move 5
Rest 2
Move 4
Rest 90

The Add button is greyed out within this section.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for getting back.

The interval section contains the same settings for all the Fitbit devices where it's available. You'll set a move and rest period and the total interval time can be between 10 seconds to 24 hours. After you've set the move and rest period, you'll have the option to set until 49 repetitions.

Please attach a picture of the gray button that you're seeing.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
