Is there any way to have more than one Ionic attached to the same account? My wife decided to replace her Ionic with a Sense, so I figured I would add her Ionic to my account (in addition to my own Ionic) and then just switch to the 'other' fully charged Ionic each morning as that would resolve the battery life issues I have been having for the last number of months. My Ionic only lasts about 1.5 days on a charge, so if I could switch to a fully charged device each morning that would certainly aleve my battery anxiety and would also allow me to collect data continuously. As it is, I basically need to remember to take it off for an hour or two each day to charge which is a pain - especially since it used to last for about a full week on a charge. BTW, I have taken all the steps that have been called out on the forum to increase battery life and nothing has changed. Battery life has sucked ever since the oxygen monitoring feature came out, even though I stopped using that feature after a few weeks due to the battery issues.
Unfortunately, when I try to add the 2nd Ionic to my account, it only gives me the option to replace my current one. IIRC, when I bought my Ionic initially, I was able to have both my Ionic AND my original Fitbit tracker on my account simultaneously - so I was surprised that it wouldn't let me have two of the same device.

You cannot have 2 of the same device on same account. I don't think you ever could; you probably initially had Ionic and another device model connected, which is allowed but not with newer models.

Thanks for the pointer. It looks like I'm just out of luck, then. You are also correct in that initially I had the original Fitbit (circa 2013) along with my Ionic at the same time. I had assumed that since those two devices were allowed, I'd be able to have two Ionics but it looks like that's not the case. Guess I'm stuck having one Ionic with terrible battery life that I need to remember to charge every day. 😞
