This morning my Ionic started to show multiple faults:
1. I Could not swipe the screen any longer. Restarts did not fix it and I could not try a factory reset as I could not access the settings app.
2. The watch also restarted itself every 5 minutes or so for 2 hours
3. Eventually I could swipe the screen and discovered that the watch is counting 2 to 3 steps per second and shows a heart rate of more than 130 bpm even if I am not wearing the watch and have it on a stable surface.
4. The battery is draining fast, roughly 10% per hour.
I restarted the watch countless times, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, did a factory reset but all to no a avail. The Ionic is still counting steps non-stop and shows a very high heart rate even when I am not wearing it. Swiping the screen also does not work from time to time.
I am still on the 2.2 OS. I have contacted customer support but perhaps someone has an idea what to do?
The watch is not even 9 months old and it is disappointing that it has stopped working so completely.
Best AnswerIt sounds like you have done everything you can. Customer Support is the way to go.
