Music Control Stopped Functioning

Hi,

I've got an Ionic and have been using it with a Samsung S7 Edge.  It was working fine until the 2.0 update. (Yeah, seems like a common thing).

Anyway,  the day of the update, the music controls were working fine.  My phone was the music source and the Ionic was the remote control.  Now no matter what I do it just says "Start playing music on your phone."  I've tried starting it from an app, from a widget, before going to the music controls on the Ionic, after going to the music controls, rebooting the Ionic and trying again (no difference).

Anybody else having this problem, and has anybody found a solution?

Thanks,

-Jeff

@js5752 Have you made sure your phone is selected as the music source in the Ionic’s music controls?

I did have it selected, when I swiped right, I clicked on the ... and then the phone icon.

I got it working again after some more fiddling with it.  I turned the fitbit off, charged it to100%, and unpaired and re-paired it with my phone.  Then it finally started working.

Oddly, during all of this, it stopped counting my steps.  The reboot seemed to bring it back, but it was odd that I was just stuck at a number and it never went up.  Something is buggy somewhere...

I'm having this same issue since upgrading to the new OS.
