I just connected a Fitbit Flyer headset after loading some music to the device. Works fine BUT my watchface no longer responds to its settings. The companion app does not load anymore. A restart of the Ionic solves the issue, but this is not the way it should work. Familiar anyone?

Does it do that every time, or just when you'd been syncing music?

Not sure. The music transfer was yesterday. The music app i started using today for playback. With the flyer and I tested on a Philips BT9000 bt speaker. Both work.

Today it happened after running the excercise app during a walk. A reboot of the watch fixed. Since I read so much about companion app not starting I will ignore for now and see what the next firmware fixes.
