Music drops out when exercising

Hi,  First time user. 

I have an Ionic and have it paired with Powerbeats 3.  After 30minutes of running my music will stop. When using the running exercise category I can not access the music to restart it without having to leave/finish the running application, recommence the music then recommence the running application.  Any suggestions are welcome.
