I have tried all troubleshooting that I found in this forum. I even chatted on Friday May 1st with a tech and she was able to walk me through it all and it finally synced. I had a Samsung Note 8 and she said it was because my phone wasn't compatible and sometimes it will work but other times not. However, I had never had an issue up until this point with it syncing. We went through all troubleshooting and it worked. It worked for about 4 hours until it stopped again. SUPER frustrating. I went ahead a got a new phone (mine was being wonky and there was a good BOGO deal at Verizon). I now have an iPhone 11 and guess what???? It still isn't syncing. I have a feeling it's my ionic as I now have a brand new phone and it isn't syncing. It is also losing time because it can't sync properly even though it is recording my steps and activity just fine! I am super annoyed because this is my 2nd Ionic and the first one I had to replace because the screen started losing color right after a year of use. My warranty of course only lasted a year so I had to buy a new one with only a 25% discount. I am going to be really upset if the only solution is to buy a new fitbit again. For $300 it should work for more than a year. Please help!

Hello, I am having the same problem. I bought an iphone 11 and now my ionic won't sync with it. (I had an iphone 6 and had no problem) It says it is syncing and refreshing but it's been saying this for over 10 hours now. I turned my phone off and on and Fitbit asked me to log back in. I did and the message now said 'gathering data'. I was hoping all would be well when I woke up this morning but nada. So, I turned my phone off and on again and now it says 'syncing and refreshing'. How did you resolve this issue?

@Cagey55 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. Since your Ionic isn't syncing to your new iPhone 11, please try this syncing troubleshooting and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
