My Fitbit only shows the logo

My fit bit only shows the logo and will not do anything else. I had it charging overnight. It is less than a year old. Any help with what is wrong or is it dead and  I need to go with an Apple Watch?

Please clean the contacts 


Then Do a Restart

 

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
