My Ionic Fitbit is 15 months old. It no longer tracks my steps, does not keep correct time and the main button on the left side no longer functions. I spoke with a person from the Help department.
She tried a few thing and finally said the problems are above her level of assistance. So they offered me a 35 percent discount a different fitbit.
I would never buy another one if this is what a poor product they put out, and such a useless warranty they have.
