I have worked for Fitbit through a marketing company demonstrating and selling Fitbits for several years. The year that I demonstrated the Ionic watch I was the leading sales person for my
region and ending up winning one for myself. I went to put my Fitbit Ionic on my wrist after charging it on Saturday, Feb. 23rd the face on the Fitbit was Black. It was completely dead. Since I've been selling Fitbit watches I have had numerous training session. I tried everything but to no avail. I called customer service and after trying to explain my problem to the women, she did not understand my problem so her supervisor got on the phone. She had me go through all of the problem solving steps Again and it still doesn't work. The Fitbit is 13 months old so she said that it's out of warranty and the only thing that she can do it discount another one for me. Both of the women that I spoke with had a very hard accent and it was really had to understand them in the first place. She gave me my case number and said that since I talked to her she could not do anything else for me or let me talk to anyone else.
I love Fitbit and I've love to continue to promote it, but It's hard to do when Customer Service isn't willing to help!!! I filled out the customer service survey and was not answered.
Any advice?

This is not a solution and was not voted as one, why is it here? We are concerned users trying to find a solution to real let down. My Ionic went black during an update and now it's totally dead, no charging, no screen, no resetting at all. We need a real solution. Not greetings and thanks for joining the community.

My Ionic died and won’t turn back on. I charged it this morning it was at 50% when I had to go out to the gym. I took it off the charger and put it on. Then got ready for the gym. Checked time and received a couple texts. Then I went out the door. I look at my watch and it’s dead. I got to the gym and tried to reset it and it was unresponsive. I got home from the gym and performed the tips in the forums. And nothing works.
We bought it 12/17/17 it was my Christmas present. I replaced my HR.
I’ve been loyal to Fitbit since 2015. Fitbit has helped me lose 103lbs and I’ve kept it off for 4 years. I love Fitbit! Please help me. This Ionic was really expensive. It should work forever.

Seems to be the same time frame for a lot of us. Seems like Fitbit would see that and fix their wrong!

Mine is not even 12 months and it has blanked out. This is obviously a common defect, Fitbit needs to solve the problem or replace all the defective units. Your guess what the ideal solution would be.
