My Ionic wish list

I want to love the Iconic, but it is missing too many features that I fell should be included in a fitness tracker/smartwatch at this price point.  Competing products at the $299, even the current sale price of $269 that do more.

  • Smart wakeup alarm (think HR Steel) Calendar notification and support for creating Calendar reminders in the mobile app.
  • I'd like the Iconic to be less dependent my phone for reminders and alerts.
  • Syncs with at least one calendar on my phone (Gmail, outlook, and ical) Alarms for upcoming day/week events and meetings
  • Audible Alarms

Agreed - audible alarms are expected

Also music synced from a computer ( not the phone)

And the wallet - so few banks supported - that should not be in the fine print.

The wallet was what I was really excited about but agree, so few banks. Who knows if/when others will be added or if mine will be one of them. I don't have any use for GPS so I guess I'll just hang on to my Blaze for the time being.

and music transfer not work, and notification not work and ....

I think ionic in NOT a smartwatch

Best Answer

Well I was looking at the Ionic because I hate my Blaze since it is missing sounds among other features.  If the Ionic doesn't have sound either, then there is no reason for me to stick with Fitbit products.

I agree.  At $300 the Iconic doen’t make much sense.  For the same money you get a lot more capability from Samsung and Apple.  Fitbit needs to drop the price by $100 and stop referring to the I conic and Versa as smart watchs.  I plan to stick with my Iconic a bit longer in hopes that Fitbit will deliver on the hype of both
