My experience with Fitbit Ionic

My Fitbit Ionic served me well for most of the year in the sense that it helped me lift my fitness levels. I  always had a few gripes with it and some of those became a bit unbearable so I moved to a Garmin Fenix 5 Plus. I am sure it won't be perfect either but its feature set seems to serve my needs better at ths point.

I am going to miss the sharp screen but like the always-on display on the Garmin. Both seem to have issues with their heart rate sensors but Garmin allows me to connect to an external monitor. Probably two of the most important features for me on the Garmin is that the screen is recessed and hence protected and that the watch body is round and looks more premium and watch like. There are also many more watch faces and apps to choose from and the sport and health options are more comprehensive.

So, for now, its thank you and bye to Fitbit. We may meet again.
