I'm glad that by restarting your watch, you revived(?) it. Hopefully this can help other users out there looking for a fix.

Best AnswerThis simultaneous pressing of all three buttons (tabs) worked today (Nov. 3. 2018) for my Fitbit Ionic (watch/tracker) that I acquired Dec. 25, 2017. The display screen came back to life after holding the watch's three buttons pressed down for about 12 seconds. Afterward I needed to sync my Fitbit app on cell phone with my watch so that I had the correct date & time on my watch.
My screen went blank. The last time I looked it was charged about 70%.
LED on the back worked fine. I charged it for several hours using a plug on the wall Still no screen.
I plugged into the USB on my computer. Still no screen
But when I pushed in all three buttons at once while plugged in, Voila! The screen came back on.
Don't know if the computer connection made a difference or not. It may have been the simultaneous hold down of the buttons.
Anyway..hope this helps someone out there in Tracker Land
