Since the watch needs to switch between smartphone, laptop, blutooth and wifi, shouldn't there be a manual networking parameters menus to easilly switch connexion.  After two weeks of ownership, bluteooth pairing to my Windows laptop is extreemly difficult.  Switching between business wifi, windows mobile hotspot and home wifi takes hours every time.   Since the watch has a display, why not use it to provide setup autonomy without the help of any phones or PC ?  not doing so, turns the watch into a black box that keeps the user totally blind as to why it does not work.

I don't fully understand your question, but if you have your Ionic connected to Fitbit apps on your laptop and phone, it often helps syncing to temporarily turn off bluetooth on one of those devices to sync with the other.

I've never heard of the type of wi-fi connection being an issue.  Sometimes it just doesn't sync, but then will sync in a few minutes, or hours.  I wonder if you are going through a lot of extra unnecessary work switching wi-fi connections.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
