Just got a second ionic and this one is not working properly again (no heart rate and keep getting calibration messages). Here is what I have tried:
1. Update iOS software 13.3
2. Update Fitbit app
3. Set up
4. tried turning Bluetooth on and sync (on the Fitbit)
5. tried turning Bluetooth off and sync (on the Fitbit)
6. did #4 again
7. reset Fitbit back to factory
8. Completed steps 1-6
What else could I do? Get a Garmin!!!

If this was a warranty replacement it could be worth checking their shipping label in the package.
I have now recieved my second replacement Ionic as my first was displaying similar issues to yours.
The SKU's of the two items are different the first replacement was FBR503WTCAP the second FBN503WTCAP.
I suspect the first was a "refurbished" Ionic as it had non functioning heart rate and short battery life, so well done on the quality control there Fitbit and the second is finally a "new" Ionic.
