New apps for Ionic: Golf and Rowing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit needs to wake up for the Ionic Watch, Rowing app needed, Golf yardage app needed, this watch can do so much like the Garmin Vivoactive 3, folks just at that watch and match it or you will loose market share. The Golf app was part of the ads for this watch back in August 2017, it is now 7 months later and no release, any good programmers would not take this long

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing the ideas of features you would like to see on Ionic.

There is currently a thread on this board which is about the Golf App. Updates about the app will be given on that thread, please stay tuned. The Golf App is coming soon.

For the Rowing App you suggest; the best thing to do is to post that on the Feature Suggestions Board. This is the best place to ask for future apps you would like to see. Users can vote and comment for your idea to make it a popular one.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you post a new suggestion! Smiley Happy

@BDBS Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for posting your feedback regarding the Golf App.

What specific characteristics are you looking for the Golf App? There are a couple golf apps available at the Fitbit App Gallery.

I'd recommend checking these out at the Fitbit App Gallery:

  • Golf GPS
  • Game Golf GPS Rangefinder

There is still not an app for rowing. However, you can vote for this suggestion:

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Ok, so where do you find these golf Aps? They aren't in the App Gallery, unless you are looking at something I am not.

Thank you

@yougy Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for your question and interest in these apps.

That would be fabulous! However, for an app to be downloadable onto any Fitbit watch it would need to be adapted for it. That is why not every app is available for Fitbit watches.

For the moment, the ones available are the ones I posted above. Feel free to check the Fitbit App Gallery for more apps. Happy exploring!
