Is it just mine or do others have an issue with sometimes text will come through on my Ionic and sometimes they won’t? Or now mine isn’t vibrating when a message comes through, when I’ve triple checked my settings that it’s on vibrate. I usually have to disconnect and reconnect my Bluetooth.
I had the same Blaze for 3 years and never had this problem.
Does anyone else have this issue or am I doing something wrong?

First thing we will need to know is what type of phone are you having problems with in sending messages?
Do your messages show up as alerts in the notification center and on the lock screen?
It is best to start at the source and work towards your tracker.

Don’t worry I think it’s normal for the ionic !! I’ve had mine a few months and it continues to not show messages or notifications and automatic exercise recording doesn’t work, I continue to detach device from the app and reset watch regularly, but just keeps not doing what it’s supposed too, very disappointed, not worth the money at all, also no help from Fitbit in recognition of the faults, except a measly offer of a fraction of the cost back to me😞

That is not normal, the reason I ask about receiving notifications on the lock screen of the phone is for most phones, this is required before Fitbit can intercept the notifications.
Mine stopped working last week, and eventually I noticed that the notification where not showing on the phone. I went to permissions and found that the messaging app did not have permission.
As for setting the tracker up again, this is the easiest way to reset permission, not the best or required way.

I have a iphone 6. All my text notifications do come up on my lock screen. I just double checked my permissions and all is on and ready to go. This is an every day occurrence and I just cannot seem to figure out what is going on with it. I may have to try setting my Ionic up again and see if that helps.
The odd part is, sometimes the message will go through on the Ionic, but it will not vibrate. (It literally just did this) When I check my settings the vibrations are still on. Its very odd, and sad to say but I'm considering switching back to my blaze. 😞

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @AllisonJB, let me give you a warm Welcome to our Community. Thanks @Rich_Laue for your help.
Can you confirm that sometimes you get the notifications but the Ionic doesn't vibrate. In this case, I would like to know if you had set an alarm? This to verify if the Ionic vibrates to gives you the notification.
In the meantime, if you haven't already done so I recommend to restart your watch. To do so, follow the instructions bellow:
Keep me posted with the outcome!
