After the last update my fitbit iconic watch stopped receiving text message notifications however still receives email notifications. I have checked all the settings on my Note 10+ and on my fitbit and have restarted both devices. It still is not working for text messages.

Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list so may work for some functions and not others.

Ok I have had the phone for 2 months and it worked fine until the most recent fitbit update that's why I thought it was strange.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting this matter prior to posting. Even though your mobile device isn't listed as a compatible device with our products and services just as stated by @SunsetRunner, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Ionic are correctly configured.
Then, after verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

I went through the info you sent and made sure the settings are correct and it still is not working for text messages. However the phone calls and emails are showing up know my fitbit.

Yes it if very annoying hopefully they fix it soon.
